‘Gotham’: ‘GOTHAM’ TV series stars actor as a transgender character

New York, NY (CNN) —  In the first of a series of TV spots for Gotham, an upcoming drama from Warner Bros. Television, actor Dominic Cooper will portray an emotionally troubled transgender character.

The TV spot also includes a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of the series, which is set to premiere on ABC.

Cooper, who is transgender, will play “Gothamy” in the pilot episode of the new series, set to air in April.

The first episode, “GOTHam” and the rest of the first season will be produced by Warner Bros., which is also behind the upcoming Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

 Gothams first episode will air on ABC, and the first episode of “Goths” will air in March, according to the Warner Bros website.

The show is being produced by Gotham Studios and is executive produced by Ben Affleck and showrunner Jason Katims.

“Gothama” will feature a new cast of characters that include a transgender protagonist, an aging woman who is also transgender and a new detective.

The series is set in New York City, and will explore the trials and tribulations of the transgender community.

Gothamas first episode is titled “Garth, GOTHAM” and will air next year on ABC on March 15.
